Who we are

Mridhu By Elsa runs this online store. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Mridhu By Elsa, and “you” means the person using the store. You can reach us at mridhubyelsa@gmail.com or at 1A, Divine, Divine Providence, Cochin, Kerala 682030, India.

Using this store

By browsing this store or placing an order, you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the store.

You must be old enough to enter into a contract under Indian law to place an order. If you are ordering on behalf of somebody else, you confirm that you are allowed to do so.

The details you give us for an order must be correct, current, complete and yours to give. A wrong address or phone number is the commonest reason a parcel fails to arrive.

Our products

We photograph our products as truthfully as we can. Colour and texture can still look different on your screen, because screens differ and because handblock printing leaves each piece slightly its own. Small variations of that kind are part of the craft and are not defects.

Product descriptions may change, we may stop selling a product, and we may limit how many of one product a single person can buy.

Placing an order

When you place an order you are offering to buy. The order is accepted when we confirm it, and we must have received your payment before we do. Please check the items, sizes, quantities and delivery details before you submit an order, because we may not be able to change them afterwards.

We may decline an order. If we decline or cancel one, we will tell you using the phone number or email address given with the order, and if you have already paid we will return the money.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Indian rupees and are the prices in effect when you place the order. Prices can change at any time before you order. Any delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

Payment is handled by Razorpay on its own payment screen. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Your order is confirmed once Razorpay tells us that the payment succeeded.

Delivery

Our shipping policy page states where we deliver, how long orders take to process and how long delivery usually takes. Those times are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier or by events outside our control.

Returns and refunds

Returns are handled exactly as our refund policy page describes: we accept a return when the product arrives damaged or defective and you tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photographs of the problem. Nothing in these terms changes that policy.

Our content

The text, photographs, designs and layout of this store belong to Mridhu By Elsa or to the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark law. You may use the store for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, republish, modify or sell any part of it without our written permission.

“Mridhu” and “Mridhu By Elsa”, along with our logos and product names, are our marks. Other names and marks appearing on the store belong to their owners.

How you may not use the store

Please use the store lawfully. Do not use it to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to harass or abuse anyone, to send false or misleading information, to advertise or send junk messages, to impersonate another person, or to collect other people's personal information. Do not scrape the store, upload harmful code, or try to get around its security. We may block access to the store if any of this happens.

Links to other websites

The store links to a few other websites, such as our social media pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their products or the way they handle your information. Read their own terms and privacy policies before you use them.

Mistakes on the store

Now and then a description, a price, a delivery charge, a delivery time or an availability may be wrong. We may correct it at any time without notice, including after an order has been submitted, and we may cancel an order affected by such a mistake. If you have already paid for a cancelled order, we return the money.

What we are responsible for

We stand behind the products we sell and the refund policy that covers them. Beyond that, the store and the general information on it are provided as they are: we do not promise that the store will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and general information on the store is offered for guidance rather than as advice to rely on.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income, lost time or lost data, arising from your use of the store. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that Indian law does not allow us to limit.

If you cause us a loss

If you break these terms or the law and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result.

If part of these terms cannot be applied

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, that part is set aside and the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given it up.

Changes to these terms

The current version of these terms is always on this page. We may update them, and we will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the store after a change means that you accept the updated terms.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of India. Disputes about them or about an order go to the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala.
